This miniature conveyor is a two-way small conveyor belt. Firstly, similar to timing belt conveyor, this micro conveyor has two belts to transport goods. In fact, this micro conveyor belt is for our Russian customer. The application of the two-channel mini conveyor is for brickyard. There are two wooden racks on the small conveyor system. And then the robot grabs and places the bricks on the wooden racks. So this miniature conveyor belt push out the wood racks & bricks from their robots zone. As the mini conveyor manufacturer, we can design and produce many kinds of small conveyor machines as customers’ requirements.

It will be hanged ( without legs ) on robot frame. Besides it has 2 channels ( for working with left and right robot-half ). And it needs to use thick materials to be strong enough for transport wooden racks 50 kg. Customer said their brick factory and environment is very dusty.

The Design Features of This Miniature Conveyor Belt:

1. Firstly, there are two conveyor belts. So it’s a bit different from normal conveyor machine.

2. Secondly, there is a mounting bracket to hold the motor. Because there is space limitation of their equipment, the motor is external at high distance.

3. Thirdly, because the conveyed goods is heavy, we use 5mm thickness rubber belts and 3mm thickess frame. Thus, it’s more durable and has long lifetime.

4. Then, also due to the high load-bearing requirements, there are two steel plates welded onto the bottom of the conveyor.

5. Finally, the most parts are connected each other by bolts. So it’s easy to install and maintainan the small conveyor belt.

How does this miniature conveyor work?

In fact, the working principle of this micro belt conveyor is similar to other small conveyor belts. Above all, the external motor drive the transmission chain. The only difference is that the chain does not directly drive the driving roller. Instead, it directly drives the shaft in the middle of the two micro conveyor belts. The shaft connects two bearing seats. Because the bearing seats connect two driving roller, the shaft can drive the two rollers. And then two driving rollers make the two belts run at the same time. You can adjust the conveyor speed.

Why it needs the driving roller with texture?

Miniature conveyor belt often has the phenomenon of belt slippage. So in order to avoid it, it uses this kind of rollers. The texture on the roller surface can increase friction. Then it can avoid belt slipping. Moreover, the support plate under the belts can also increase friction. When designing and using micro conveyors, we must avoid belt slippage. Otherwise, the belt is prone to wear or breakage. Eventually it will affect the normal operation of the conveyor.

Q1: Are your miniature conveyor belt strong?
A1: Sure. In order to ensure its durability, we uses 5mm thickness rubber belt. And the frame uses 3mm thickness steel. It’s thicker than normal mini conveyor.

Q2: How to adjust belt tension?
A2: There are tension adjustment mechanisms on the two sides of the micro conveyor. They connect the two driven rollers. When adjusting, it can change the roller distance, so it can achieve to adjust belt tension.

Q3: How do I solve the problem of belt deviation of small conveyor?
A3: It’s same to adjust belt tension. If the belt deviation occurs at the lelft side, then adjust the left tension adjustment mechanism.
